2026 NEW ZEALAND INDIAN HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP

CDISC is proud to be hosting the NZISA 2026 New Zealand Indian Hockey Championship from Saturday 30 May to Monday 1 June in Palmerston North. We look forward to hosting all Indian Sports Clubs players and spectators to the Mighty Manawatu for this event! Scroll further for all details relating to NZIHC for 2026. HOCKEY

Hockey will be played at the Hockey Manawatu Inc. Twin Turfs located at 6A Manawaroa Street, Palmerston North.

CDISC will have our Food Tent operating over all three days serving a variety of tasty Indian food including samosas, sausages, pies, and chai's. This is a fundraiser for our small club so we do appreciate your custom over the weekend. Hockey Manawatu will have their bar open upstairs at the Pavilion over the weekend.

CDISC will also have our historical banners upstairs, so please have a good read on what has made our club over the years and what makes us who we are today.

For those who can’t attend, you can watch livestreamed games to be played on Turf 1 via the NZISA YouTube channel. Games are streamed by Local Gecko Productions with livestreaming, event funding, and support provided by One Foundation.

Livestreamed games is a FREE-TO-AIR BROADCAST! NZISA, CDISC, and LGP will never ask for credit card details or personal information, so be aware of any dodgy online messages and links.

SOCIAL

The Social will be held on Sunday 31 May at the Ashhurst Village Valley Centre located at 21 Guildford Street, Ashhurst. The venue is a short 15 minute drive from Palmerston North. Please ensure you arrange your travel to and from the Social in advance.

Tickets at $35.00 per person (Under 5s free) and can be purchased from the CD Food Tent at the hockey turf on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are limited and there will be no door sales.

Tickets include a full course meal of dinner and dessert. Dinner will be served from 7.00pm to 9.30pm. The bar will be operating on a token system which can be purchased on your arrival at the Social.

DJ Rick will be spinning tunes so gear up for a great night!
